How It Works

To keep Nero Stars super special, there are only 500 places available. That means we randomly select 500 customers to take part and receive a ‘Nero Star token’ to give to a barista in recognition of their excellence. Once you register, we'll let you know if you’re taking part (this time around), and your Nero Star Token will be sent in the post within 2 weeks.

There are no rules. Just one thing to think about — that you recognise a barista for what you feel is exceptional. It could be they go out of their way to take care of you, or they find a way to make your day a little more special — whatever makes a genuine difference to you.

How to nominate your Nero Star

1. Come to this site on Thursday, 28 March 2024 to register.
2. We then write to those who are chosen from registration and you receive a Nero Star Token (it looks a bit like a poker chip) in the post.
3. Recognition as a Nero Star occurs when you hand this Token to the individual.
4. Keep your Nero Star Token with you, ready for that right moment to award to your Star Barista.
5. It is up to you who you choose as a Nero Star and when to hand the token to them.
6. Once you have chosen your Nero Star by handing them the token, we do several things within our company to make that individual feel special and recognised.
